sometimes i hear people say that you shouldn’t be someone who you are not, but truth is, whenever i hear it, it produces certain degree of irritation to me. If you think it’s cool to become like someone you look up to, my mind says, you should just become one. if you want to change yourself for better, my mind continues, why shouldn’t you just do it. whenever i hear someone says that, it sounds as if he is justifying his weakness like an excuse.

that’s why, having such an irreverence like Jinnai — a guy from Children by Kotaro Isaka — equipped with a strong masculine “axis” like Yukio Mishima, also adding little bit of humor and knowledge with powerful moral consciousness and justice, i aspire to live a standard life of “man”, which i think is really cool.
